This is my proper 2.week at Art University Collage Bournemouth, So far it is amazing.
This was a big decision for myself.Going back to education after long years,but i always had a passion for fashion :))) And decided -gotta do- something, last year joined the short courses to see if it was right thing for me Hi Everyone,
and taking some drawing lessons privately - i have to say my drawings is not very good- but loved what i was doing, seeing the improvement in my drawing,being able to sew a skirt made me believe myself i was on the right pathway.Here i am today writing my first blog what i have done and will.I am very happy and excited to be in Art University.See you all on the following days .... I'll be here....

(This pic.was taken in Turkey-my home-last summer -what a fresh start isn't it...-)

Hi,
I must say i love FDP-Fashion Desing Principles; it is so much fun & creativity together.

Below some of work i done last week.

Theme i choose was handmade; so i used some of the fashion magazine cut outs - Dolce&Gabbana-ribbon detail ,embroidery from this season' collection.I had that handmade lace that i bought last year at Portobello Market also the old cardpostals - with handmade detail on them- and the right hand corner fabric cutout from school.
I decorated the lace with some pearls, and the finishing touch my handmade ribbon on the left corner.
I thought it look very pretty and romantic ...

What do you think????

FABRIC SOURCING - LONDON TRIP

It has been a very exciting trip to London's fabric shops; been to lovely fabric shops, seen some beautiful and -expensive- fabrics. And can't wait to visit them again in my own time.

Some of the shop windows was beautifully done!!!

Some of the shop was very helpfull with giving swatches but some i had to buy off.It is understandable was so many of us.

End of the day i had lot of swatches ;

But i don't think it was enough time to do much ;after the fabric shops i been to R.D Franks for some Fashoin Magazine and books - which i would love to have most-but so expensive!!!

It's been a fantastic day out!!!But i am still feeling poorly:(((
