It's been so long i have not blog!! So decided to start again

from 2.term;



CREATIVE DESING...


We been given a brief before the xmas holiday- my own manifesto-
Also we have to research about sustainable desing,eco fashion,
as a future desinger what we can do to help environment.

It s very exciting but then again it s hard;as we just learning to find our skills, our own style,i am not even sure many of us knows what is MANIFESTO?


That s why we r here...To experiment.
What i decided after a long concidetation:)!!!!

It must be me, what i think, what is my views about life,

that made it much easier, come up with;

And I done my research about eco fashion;as i done that i learnt lots.
I also visited an exhibition in London called Eco Home.

i loved the ideas of recyling items as using rolled papers for this mirror they also used them for vase,photo frame,bowl and old vinyl bookends great ideas!!!!

After all this i started on my board ; FREEDOM remind me chain, cage, feathers so ;

Had so much fun trying to find old rusty chain, :)) I went to Ferndown skip for that then found a very long and heavy chain, needed to cut in pieces:) that was fun too:)))Anyway at the end i got the perfect length i wanted...Used some feathers around the mirror image i think it s right for FREEDOM image...Breaking the chains reaching the freedom ...

As we picked the design i start researching my fabric, looked all the fabric shops in Bournemouth and some in London but do not wanna rush because got Berlin trip coming up and my short Turkey visit ,i am sure i will see some lovely fabric over there:)))

BERLIN TRIP

This was an amazing trip to history;haven t been to Berlin before and to be honest never interest me .When they say Trip to Fashion Capital :)) first city i thought Milan or Paris but had a great time :))Thanks to Berliner :))Its on the table if you wondering what it is :))

I never got a chance get to know 2. years but this trip we got on very well, the girls are lovely:))

I did not know there was that much history going on in Berlin, obviously knew about The Wall but that's about it, i recommended to everyone.

Trip to Letta University was exciting ; students are so talented at the bottom some pic from their design....

As I hoped i found a lovely fabric for my design in Berlin.Very pleased with that.:))

After Berlin, went too Turkey for few days, and bought more fabric !!!do not know what to do with all that fabric:))

FASHION BUYING AND MERCHANDISING

We have a new unit this term FBM; and I like it already, it s what i would like to do when I finished the uni.work as fashion buyer; but I realised it is not a easy job to get in to and hold on to, but i am hoping with my Turkish back round I will get what I want:)))

LECTRA

An other new unit Lectra, Computer pattern cutting and laying and Kalido-Computer design in Fashion.I really enjoy the classes,needs lots of practising I have to say :)))
